Emotiva Audio XPA-3 3 Channel Audio Power Amplifier

'XPA-3: The cure for the common receiver'.

Here's the scenario: You've got a receiver that works well enough for your 5 channel or 7 channel home theater system, but you feel that it's lacking a little something. There's just not enough punch and power in the experience. Receiver amplifiers have to compromise their power against the limited space available. Still, you're holding back on entering the world of separates, because of the expense.

Enter the XPA-3, designed just for someone in your plight. For only $649, you can add this amp to your setup and experience home theater on a new exciting level. Use it to power your left, center and right speakers while the receiver continues powers your surrounds. Those 200 watts per channel will bring your speakers to life with greater dynamics and detail at any volume.

The XPA-3 will also deliver a sizeable improvement to your 2 channel music listening, and you'll get a boost in power when using only two channels. (225w x 2 at 8 ohms, 375w x 2 at 4 ohms).

This amp is also the perfect building block. Add an XPA-2 down the line for a absolute knockout 5 channel system.

The Power of X is here!

Emotiva Audio UPA-7 7 Channel Audio Power Amplifier

'UPA-7: The tradition continues'

Two years ago, the LPA-1 turned the audio community on its ear by proving that an economical price, quality sound and power could all be combined. The LPA-1 quickly became a 'best kept secret' among AV enthusiasts, and the buzz generated by many positive reviews quickly turned the amp into a best seller.

During the planning stages for the next model, the LPA-2 was renamed as the UPA-7, to coincide with the 'Ultra' series of Emotiva products. It's the same amp, and then again, it isn't. It shares the original design, with one exception - all seven channels produce 125 watts of power (8 ohms), whereas the LPA-1 featured 5 channels at 125 watts, and 2 channels at 50 watts.

As LPA-1 owners quickly discovered, 125 watts of real power is...well, a lot of power. Many amps and most receivers tout high ratings that they are unable to sustain for any credible amount of time. How can a receiver compare to an amp when it's outweighed by just the transformer? It's simple physics.

Ready to move on to a bigger soundstage? The UPA-7 is ready to take you there.
