AV Enthusiast turns 1 year old on August 5, 2008.

 

The first year saw incredible growth in the first 6 months, followed by a stagnant leveling off when the workplace at my day job started enforcing the computers in the workplace policy. This drastically impeded my ability to work on the site, and I am still struggling to overcome that impediment. This summer you all have probably wondered where the hell I am. If you've missed the updates on why there haven't been any posts, I am testing for the rank of Sergeant at my day job. The written exam was June 30th, and in the next week or two I will finally be taking the oral examination, administered by a board of examiners. Once that is over the results will be tabulated and the remaining applicants will be ranked. Following that is an interview with the Director of our department. This is a big deal for me and my family, and I'm sure you can appreciate that my career is more important to me than AV Enthusiast and one had to suffer this summer.
